Re: Am Not Coping

Hey @TAB that quote about the poor reminds me of decades ago in Assisi when I saw a nun from the order of St Clare who set a rule of extreme poverty. Thanks yet again @Zoe7 for your down-to-earth, straight-to-the-heart comments. I wish you all the best in your recovery journey too, & that you accomplish what you’d like to tomorrow before the tennis starts! I had a lovely dinner (pumpkin & feta cannelloni) & inspiring movie. No problems chatting & really got to know my friend’s partner more which was great. @Mumi given your morning & the range of challenges you’re dealing with, feel free to not comment on your day AND not make comparisons (how’s that for the pot calling the kettle black ....could we have a GERMAN TRANSLATION on that saying please??!!

Good night @TAB @Zoe7@Hamsolo01@Mumi@oceangirl

Re: Am Not Coping

Thanks but actually I knew those German words @Mumi

what I wanted was that saying about the pot calling the kettle black translated INTO German!

Re: Am Not Coping

I know Schwartz is black but can’t translate the rest. Can you please @TAB?! Or perhaps the funny saying just translates to one word - hypocrite!?!

Re: Am Not Coping

..ein Esel schimpft den adern Langohr .. sowie Google lol not one I’ve heard before in my limited ok Mittlestufe Eins in Berlin 2000 was pro meine Höhepunkt @Sam3 lol

Re: Am Not Coping

... its eine Redeswengun ie there is no direct translation @Sam3 .. a bit like one I actually had learned ok Eng. one the ball. Ger. Scher auf draht. Which literally means ‘heavy on the wire’ .. so literal translation makes .. No Sense 😸 thats why they are interesting 😀

Re: Am Not Coping

Re: Am Not Coping
